Rice Performances (2016-2018)
 

A series of "Rice Performances" took place between 2016-2018. While Davenport performed strenuous tasks, such as carrying bags of rice across gallery floors, audio of her mother speaking about racism within the Korean community filled the silence. In this series of performances, Davenport shares the labor and weight that her mother has carried for her family.
